Plaisir du Chocolat is ready to celebrate Easter in style.
Our theme this spring is Africa, and we have created a series of eggs and masks to celebrate the occasion.
Three eggs designed by Ghabida MacGrath and inspired by the French painter Douanier Rousseau have been fashioned: the Jungle in dark chocolate, the Savannah in milk chocolate and the Desert in white chocolate. Each egg is filled with a selection of sea shells in dark, milk and white chocolate in keeping with French Easter traditions. Unfortunately the eggs are too fragile to be sent by courier or post. They can only be purchased in our boutique.
Using genuine wooden African masks as templates, we have produced replicas in chocolate that reflect the aged and weathered look of the originals. They are now available for purchase in our boutique.
‘Africa’ will be the first of many ‘animations’ that will regularly feature in our boutique.
They will change seasonally and emphasize the underlying theme of Plaisir du Chocolat - the Voyage.
We will keep you au fait well in advance of each changing theme and of the products designed to accompany it.
May we remind you that our boutique is currently open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm and closed on Sunday and Monday. Tel: 0131 225.99.00.
